About me
Erik Fintel has worked at the North State Planning & Development Collective (NSPDC) formerly the Geographical Information Center at California State University, Chico, for 20+ years. He is currently a GIS Project Manager helping to lead the work done on the 3D Hydrography Program (3DHP) and other Elevation Derived Hydrography (EDH) projects and as a hydrography sub-stewardship in California. His work has primarily focused on using geographic information systems (GIS) for environmental resources. Topics include modeling in agricultural, automated data extraction in wetlands and hydrography, and alliance-level vegetation mapping across California.
