About me
Olga Tambazidis is a GIS Technician II with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, where she uses spatial analysis and data visualization to enhance the visual interpretation of data and supporting decision-making to improve countywide health equity. With six years of experience in the geospatial field, her expertise includes aerial imagery, utility management, demographic research, UX design, and community engagement. Passionate about harnessing geospatial technology for social equity and community impact, she volunteers as a member of the Geospatial Professional Network’s Vanguard Cabinet and serves as the Emerging Professional Chair for CalGPN. Olga holds a BA in Geography with a focus on GIS from UC Santa Barbara and an MS in Geographic Information Science from CSU Long Beach.
